Visit Shard is a London skyscraper appeared on the capital's landscape on July 5, 2012. It was called The London Bridge Tower before being renamed The Shard (i.e. the shard!) for the visual break it made in the usual landscape.
This tower, from the top of its 309.7 metres including boomWhen it was built, it was the city's tallest skyscraper. And it can be visited for a panoramic view of the whole of London!
Introducing The Shard skyscraper
The Shard borde the Thames and takes place in the luxurious Southwarkon the south bank of the river.
The building was constructed between 2008 and 2012under the direction of renowned architect Renzo Piano. His projects include the façade of the Maison Hermès in Tokyo, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Cité Internationale in Lyon and the NEMO science and technology museum in Amsterdam.

The site is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.with an exception on Saturdays when it opens between 1pm and 9pm.
