Stansted Airport is about 20 kilometers from the heart of London, and there are a number of shuttle services to get you there.

The Stansted bus station is ideally located just a few steps from the main terminal. Services are mainly operated by National Express, and link the airport to a wide range of destinations. numerous bus and train stations including :
- London Victoria
- London Liverpool Street
- Waterloo
Prices for transport start at around £15.
Stansted to London by train
Stansted has its own station under the terminal. This station is served by the Stansted Express.
Its service is a regular and convenient train service from the airport to London Station, Liverpool Street, Tottenham Hale and Stratford.
Visit trains depart every 15 minutes with a wide range of tariffs available.
Shuttle between London and Stansted: take the Underground
There is no direct connection between theStansted airport and London in metroThere will be a few exchanges to make.
The journey to central London takes around 90 minutes. It's important to note that Stansted Airport users traveling from London, Liverpool Street or Stratford should be aware that their Oyster Card is only valid for Tottenham Hale.
Customers without a valid ticket from Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport (whether one-way or return) may be fined.
You can use your Oyster card when travelling by metro. This card allows you to travel more easily on the entire London network.

Obtaining an Oyster card is generally the cheapest way to public transport in London.
You can get an Oyster card with direct debit, which means you don't have to worry about having change in your pocket.

Choosing to take a cab in London
Journey time to central London (Waterloo station) is around 60 minutes and can cost between £60 and £200, depending on the type of vehicle you choose.
