The dining room is just as special, adorned with carpets, candles and twinkling lights. Menus both inside and out showcase the work of British suppliers.

Benares
Benares has long been regarded as one of London's finest Indian restaurants.

You can then finish with a superb homemade Christmas pudding served with plum compote and warm brandy custard.

Once home to the Metropolitan Police, this five-star hotel combines history and modernity. The Parlour, one of the hotel's restaurants, is the ideal place for a festive afternoon tea.
Treat your taste buds to sweet and savoury Christmas-inspired treats, choose from a selection of nine teas and add a glass of champagne if you like.
The Parlour is a great stop for a good time and a bite to eat near the Covent Garden.
Engawa
Engawa is just one of the few London restaurants to offer Kobe beef, the most exclusive variety of Wagyu beef.
To make the most of this meat, Engawa imports the entire carcass from the Japanese prefecture of Hyogo.
The cuts are then used in dishes such as pan-fried beef with a spicy wasabi dressing and teppanyaki steaks.
A Christmas omakase menu includes sushi, black cod karaage, prized beef and dessert. Pair your meal with one of the Japanese beers or the extensive sake and wine selection.
