Harry Potter Hotel: article summary
Harry Potter hotel: the Georgian House Hotel
From the outside, the Georgian House Hotel doesn't exactly look enchanting. Don't be fooled into thinking this isn't the best Harry Potter-themed hotel. Behind this ordinary door is a magical world.
Inside, you'll find plenty of character and charm.
Hidden away on the first floor, curious guests may find the wizards' room. This is the area of the 19ᵉ century hotel that Muggles are not allowed to enter. Don't forget to bring your acceptance letter from Hogwarts.
Choose either the Wizard's Chamber or the Enchanted Chamber.
The Sorcerer's Chamber includes mythical Gothic rooms featuring magical castle details with :
- Stained glass windows
- Stone walls
- Arcades
- Trunks
- Cauldrons.
Sleep in four-poster beds with velvet curtains that are almost invisible. an exact replica of the Gryffindor living quarters.
The Enchanted Room is a little smaller and cosier than the Wizard's Room, but still just as magical.
These rooms are designed for couples, and you can find them hidden behind a library door on the first floor and featuring the same Harry Potter memorabilia.
During your stay, non-muggles can enjoy an enchanted breakfast, an enchanted afternoon tea and an enchanted lunch. from Saturday to Sunday.
Hagrid's Hut
Hagrid is one of the most intriguing characters in Harry Potter, and his hut was an interesting place that was off-limits to some. In London, you can stay in a real-life replica of Hagrid's cabin.
Just in case you don't know whether Hagrid actually lived here, there's a life-size cutout of Hagrid and his scary four-legged friend.
If you're afraid of spiders, beware. There's a miniature version of Aragog, Hargrid's pet spider.
Inside the hut is a stone-walled living space suitable for witches and wizards, with everything you need to perform spells and potions.
Although it's a cabin in an enchanting forest, Hagrid's cabin has all the modern amenities you could need, such as Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
Harry Potter Hotel: Harry's House
All wizards are welcome at Harry's House. Muggles are tolerated. Fans will love this Harry Potter-themed house, which is just a few minutes' drive from the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
This charming apartment transports you into the world of the little wizard. Harry's House has two bedrooms, one for older children, with floating magic candles as lampshades.
The magic continues in the corridor in which you can access docks 9 ¾, but I advise Muggles against trying to enter.
Scattered throughout the House of Harry, many elements remind you that you are now at Hogwarts.
Even though this house is for wizards, modern wizards still need Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare a feast.
If you're a fan of the saga, these are the places for you. Here you can enjoy a good night's sleep and the magic of the place.
