Cutter and Squidge: article summary
Cutter and Squidge: a renowned pastry shop in London
Run by two food-obsessed sisters, it's heaven for those with a sweet tooth. Choose from their "Biskies", cakes and other signature treats before sitting down upstairs, or head downstairs to the secret garden.
You'll feel as if you've been transported to an imaginary world, complete with butterflies, flowers and twinkling lights, making it the ideal setting for eating pretty cakes, sip Prosecco and wash it all down with a fruity tea.
Unique flavors in London
At Cutter and Squidge, Annabel and Emily have not only created the coolest pastry, but you can also see personal elements of their personality and culture all around.
The flavors of the cakes are unique, the ingredients are as healthy as possible, but, better still, No artificial ingredients or colorants are used.
According to the website, the sisters insist that their pastries are 100 % natural and extract all the beautiful colors from fruits and vegetables.
It's also worth noting that everything in the store is entirely handmade from scratch. An authentic place to discover.
Cutter and Squidge: take advantage of afternoon tea
Afternoon tea arrives in pretty little stacked Chinese steam baskets. You start at the bottom with your sandwiches, tomato crackers, scones and clouds of hot cheese.
As you progress, the next layer is generously filled with so many goodies you won't know where to start.
Each dessert is incredible, the flavors perfectly balanced. If I had to advise you, I'd say go for the passion fruit macaron.
Finally, the last two treats are Brownie Bowls and Lollibag Dreamcake. These are sweets you can't refuse, even if you've already had your fill of the previous pastries.
An establishment that never lets up
Cutter and Squidge is a safe bet, and regulars always expect new wonders from this patisserie.
This bakery has already achieved a lot, and I can only predict that the two savvy sisters will continue to come up with more ideas, more themes and more tasty and pretty cakes.
