Tourists tend to start venturing out around 10am and 1pm, <strong>most places can become very crowded.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you're planning an early-morning or late-evening proposal, check the sunrise and sunset times so you don't accidentally find yourself in the dark.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc153623173\"><\/a><strong>Where can I apply in London if it's raining?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Even if it doesn't rain as much in London as its reputation suggests, it's always good to have a plan B.<\/p>\n<p>If you're unlucky with the weather <strong>you don't want to delay your proposal<\/strong>you can take advantage of one of the following zones <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/covered-market-london\/\">covered in London<\/a> such as :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/borough-market\/\">Borough Market<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The Barbican<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/covent-garden\/\">Covent Garden<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Leadenhall Market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc153623174\"><\/a><strong>The best places to propose in London<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>When it comes to proposing in London, there are bound to be some places that are better than others. Let me tell you about the places I like best in the capital, which are<strong> a great place to apply.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Proposing in London: Greenwich Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Perfect for those who want a more intimate setting, and one of my favorite proposal venues, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/greenwich\/\">Greenwich Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The park was once King Henry VIII's hunting reserve and offers breathtaking views over London.<\/p>\n<p>The best place to visit in the park is One Tree Hill Vista Point, <strong>a hidden gem known only to locals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It offers a superb combination of privacy and stunning views over the city of London, perfect for a proposal.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tower Bridge<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Another classic London backdrop,<a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/london-bridge\/\"> Tower Bridge<\/a> is a breathtaking piece of architecture opened in 1894.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to make your request at the foot of Tower Bridge, I would recommend 1 of the 3 spots on the south bank:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the grass next to the town hall<\/li>\n<li>Along the river beside Shad Thames<\/li>\n<li>Next to the \"Fille au dauphin\" fountain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>London proposal: the London Eye<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of the most modern additions to the London skyline, the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/london-eye\/\">London Eye<\/a> was built in 2000 to celebrate the millennium.<\/p>\n<p>The Eye was built as a temporary structure intended to last only 5 years, but after proving itself <strong>incredibly popular with tourists, the lease has been extended.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The wheel itself is the perfect place to propose. Grab a gondola, let yourself be carried to the top and propose with London at your feet.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Saint-James Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of my favorite royal parks in London, St James Park has a lot to offer. There are several flower gardens, exotic trees and <strong>a lake with various types of birds.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can even enjoy the view of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/london-eye-vue\/\">London Eye and Big Ben from<\/a> at the eastern end of the park.<\/p>\n<p>Crossing the center of the park, you have the shopping mall, Bucking Palace at one end and Admiralty Arch at the other. So many places <strong>which are magnificent backdrops for your marriage proposal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Marriage proposal in London: Kyoto gardens in Holland Park<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of my favorite London gems is this picturesque Japanese garden in Holland Park. The intimate park is filled with beautiful Japanese trees, colorful plants and stone lanterns.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/japanese-garden-london\/\">The Kyoto garden<\/a>opened in 1991, was a gift from the city of Kyoto to represent the long friendship between Great Britain and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>As you stroll along, be prepared to be greeted by friendly squirrels and colorful peacocks. The little bridge beside the river <strong>is a charming place to ask the big question.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you're not sure where to propose, take a look at this list.
