The mosaic floor that immediately catches your eye has been <strong>by female inmates of Woking prison.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Adults can find all their childhood toys and show these relics of the past to their children.<\/p>\n<p>Children can also have fun in a dedicated play area. On-site facilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sandbox<\/li>\n<li>Rocking horses<\/li>\n<li>Puppets<\/li>\n<li>A fitted kitchen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc152870830\"><\/a><strong>Museum of Childhood: a catering area<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On-site catering and caf\u00e9 facilities. You can also <strong>sandwiches and fish sticks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc152870831\"><\/a><strong>What's nearby the Mus\u00e9e de l'Enfance?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Just down the road from the Mus\u00e9e de l'Enfance is a beautiful statue of an inverted staircase.<\/p>\n<p>It recalls one of the worst civilian tragedies of the Second World War, when 173 people died in the stampede caused by the rush<strong> to the Bethnal Green Station air-raid shelter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It may be a bit morbid for young children, but it's a good example of a story for older children discovering the past.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc152870832\"><\/a><strong>How much does admission cost?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Young V&amp;A is free. It's a perfect outing if you're looking for simple activities to spend a day enjoying with the family.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you can also visit other free museums during your visit to London.
