The average house price is \u00a323.8 million.<\/p>\n<p>Next to the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/kensington\/\">Kensington Palace<\/a>Phillimore Gardens residents can count Prince William among their neighbors. The Beckhams and Robbie Williams also own properties close to Holland Park.<\/p>\n<p>Grosvenor square in <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/mayfair\/\">Mayfair<\/a> takes second place, with homes valued at an average of \u00a323.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Ilchester Place then takes third place, with an average of \u00a317.7 million for house prices on this exclusive street, where only those <strong>the richest can afford to live.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc151236549\"><\/a><strong>Affluent neighborhoods in London: why are they expensive?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There are five major business districts in London, another reason why London is a trendy place to live or own property.<\/p>\n<p>Exceptional architecture, <strong>nightlife and restaurants add to the charm of London life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From the hustle and bustle of the West End to the long list of Michelin-starred restaurants, London residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment and dining.<\/p>\n<p>Although London can't compete with other parts of the UK for picturesque scenery.<\/p>\n<p>London's nightlife and top sporting events attract people to London, with <strong>popular spots around the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc151236550\"><\/a><strong>Which are London's most expensive districts?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Let's get to the heart of the matter and find out which are London's most expensive neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Westminster<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Westminster is best known for housing the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and <strong>the world-famous Big Ben monument.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The average price of a home in Westminster is \u00a31.69 million, and residents include the Prime Minister at No. 10 Downing Street and members of the Royal Family living at <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/buckingham-palace\/\">Buckingham Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some of Britain's most iconic streets, including Oxford Road, Regent Street and Bond Street, are located in the Westminster district.<\/p>\n<p>You'll also find designer boutiques and a number of theaters in the area. <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/theatres-london\/\">West End<\/a>as well as top restaurants.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>London's affluent neighborhoods: Kensington and Chelsea<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is another of London's most expensive boroughs.<\/p>\n<p>With an average price of \u00a31.67 million, buyers must have a substantial bank balance.<strong> to buy a property in this area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kensington and Chelsea are bursting with art and culture.
