It was originally owned by developer Thomas Neale (hence the name), and had little use for it except as a dumping ground for <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/covent-garden\/\">Covent Garden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Things weren't looking too good. But just before its shelf life was about to expire, contractor Nicholas Saunders came along and<strong> breathed new life into the site.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting in 1976, he cleaned it up and turned one of the local warehouses into a full-service food store. However, there are some places I appreciate more than others.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Homeslice<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Neal's Yard is where Homeslice began offering its huge New York-style pizzas, and where <strong>London has become obsessed with it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the team's first lounge where the pizzas come out of the wood-fired oven and the toppings straddle the line between classics and unconventional creations. <strong>like braised beef with beet and goat's cheese.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you're attracted to both flavors and don't know which way to turn, there's an intermediate option: make half-and-half.<\/p>\n<p>The venue opens :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday to Sunday <strong>12 pm to 10 pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The Barbary Next Door<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Believe it or not, The Barbary Next Door is located<strong> next to The Barbary<\/strong>. It's the same team, with the same motifs, the same culinary beliefs and the same love of African cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>The difference here is that the capacity is reduced to just ten seats. Find a table <strong>may seem a little more difficult<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On site, you can try :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The famous flatbreads<\/li>\n<li>Quail eggs salted with cumin<\/li>\n<li>Filo tart with crispy chicken pastilla<\/li>\n<li>Oxtail tagine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wine also plays a key role in the experience. Honey Spencer one of London's leading sommeliers, <strong>offers you its best bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The restaurant opens :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday to Wednesday <strong>from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Thursday to Saturday <strong>9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Sunday <strong>10 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Neal's Yard: the Company of Supernatural Wines<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Francophones who created the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/soho\/\">Soho<\/a>'s Experimental Cocktail Club are behind another portal to Paris, here at Neal's Yard.<\/p>\n<p>In this sumptuously decorated two-storey wine bar and restaurant, they have switched their allegiance from spirits to wine, and <strong>offer over 400 bottles.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you don't know the first thing about wine, the sommeliers are on hand to talk you through it.
