This means <strong>reserve your place<\/strong>if you're planning to attend the show in 2024!<\/p>\n<h3>How to see London's fireworks?<\/h3>\n<p>To enjoy the fireworks in London, it's essential to buy your tickets in advance, following the two dates on which tickets go on sale:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>October 18, 2024<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Mid-December 2024 <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It's a prerequisite for entering the heart of London!<\/p>\n<p>To do so, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.london.gov.uk\/events\/london-new-years-eve-2024?ac-223373=223403\">the official London New Year website<\/a> and follow the instructions to buy your tickets as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<h3>What are the paying viewpoints?<\/h3>\n<p>The festival takes place in the heart of the capital, with two venues serving as privileged gathering areas: <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/big-ben\/\">Big Ben<\/a>which will ring its bells at the stroke of midnight; <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/the-shard\/\">The Shard<\/a>with its screen displaying the fateful countdown. Just as you'd expect, <strong>many people<\/strong> try their luck, and the place could be packed.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most popular free-of-charge venues are the <strong>Lambeth Bridge<\/strong>which offers a good overview. As well as <strong>Millennium Bridge<\/strong> and <strong>Tower Bridge<\/strong>from where you can see the show quite well.<\/p>\n<p>Except for these bridges, <strong>Parliament Hill<\/strong>in <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/hampstead-heath-park\/\">Hampstead Heath Park<\/a>offers an excellent view of the festivities, including <strong>Primrose Hill<\/strong>just a stone's throw away. With your ticket, you'll receive directions to the entrance door where you can find your zone. They will be open from 8pm to 10:30pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many tickets can I buy? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will not be able to buy more than 4 tickets\/person. If you're in a group, you'll need to make several separate purchases. <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rules to know<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, we strongly advise against bringing small children, due to the large crowds. Secondly, once you've entered your zone, you won't be allowed to leave and re-enter. If you don't want to wait long minutes in the queue, <strong>I advise you to arrive early.<\/strong><br \/>\n<a name=\"5\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Bring your own refreshments<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The food stalls of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/london-at-christmas\/\">No\u00ebl<\/a> in London are not expensive, but I still recommend bringing food with you.<\/p>\n<p>You'll be there until after midnight, so you'll need to keep up your strength. <strong>if you plan to arrive very early.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chocolate helps against the cold, so I recommend you bring some along.<\/p>\n<p>You can bring any type of food you like, but be careful with drinks. I recommend you bring a bottle of something hot to enjoy while you wait. A bottle of water <strong>is also a good idea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you pass through the gates, you'll pass through security, where your bags will be searched. If you haven't brought a glass bottle, <strong>you should have no trouble getting through the security gantry without effort.<\/strong><br \/>\n<a name=\"6\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>New Year's Eve in London: what happens after the show?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Once the show is over, the journey back to the Underground or central London is often more complicated.<\/p>\n<p>Be prepared for even longer queues, as many of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/london-metro\/\">metro<\/a> are closed.<\/p>\n<p>Many people end up stopping off at pubs and bars along the way.
