A veritable <strong>emergency shelter in central London.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In June 1938, the building was relocated near Parliament, benefiting from a solid steel structure and a large basement.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc147894266\"><\/a><strong>What are the opening hours?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You can visit the museum :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Every day <strong>9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that the last admission is at 5 pm. It costs :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>27,25\u00a0\u00a3<\/strong> per adult<\/li>\n<li><strong>13,60\u00a0\u00a3<\/strong> per child<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Admission is free for children under 5.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc147894268\"><\/a><strong>How long does a visit to the War Rooms last?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The War Rooms and the museum can be explored in an hour and a half. But if you want to read every interactive display carefully and study every element closely, <strong>it will take about 3 hours and 30 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So 2 hours and 30 minutes will give you enough time to absorb a considerable amount of information and see all the exhibits at a comfortable pace.<\/p>\n<p>You may wish to spend most of your visit in the War Rooms, <strong>where Winston Churchill led the war effort<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is obviously a very important section of the bunker.
