If you've ever dreamed of being an amateur art critic,<strong> Hoxton is definitely the place for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You'll find it in the Hackney district of East London. The Old Street subway station in Zone 1 is nearby.<\/p>\n<p>It can take you back to the heart of London in just ten minutes. In the Tudor era, many moated manor houses offered the wealthy country air close to the city.<\/p>\n<p>Hoxton contained public gardens that were a popular holiday destination.<strong> during the vacations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the 17th century, the estates were dismantled and many of the existing large houses were used as madhouses.<\/p>\n<p>Hoxton House, for example, became a private asylum in 1695. In Victorian times, railroads facilitated travel to distant suburbs. The wealthier classes were happy to do so, <strong>leaving Hoxton a concentration of the poor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159091406\"><\/a><strong>Hoxton Hall London: an artistic venue<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In Hoxton Street, a plaque marks the site of the Britannia Theatre, which has passed into <strong>from the former tea gardens of Pimlico to a 3,000-seat hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hoxton Hall, now a community center, began life in 1863 as a music hall. In 1924, Gainsborough Film Studios was founded, and Alfred Hitchcock, Ivor Novello and Gracie Fields all worked here!<\/p>\n<p>With this creativity comes a new popularity. In the early 1980s, industrial lofts were home to young artists. And by the end of the 20\u1d49 century, Hoxton was an artistic district and with a large number of :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bars<\/li>\n<li>Clubs<\/li>\n<li>Restaurants<\/li>\n<li>Art galleries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most fashionable part is centered on Hoxton Square, where you'll find today <strong>a lively, trendy atmosphere and a thriving art scene to discover!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159091407\"><\/a><strong>The good things about Hoxton<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Hoxton is a very unique part of London with an artistic and creative atmosphere that you must experience.<\/p>\n<p>From art galleries and concert halls to trendy bars and restaurants, <strong>you'll never run out of things to do here.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It's also just a ten-minute walk from Old Street, one of London's best nightlife areas.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc159091408\"><\/a><strong>Hoxton London: a lively place<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Hoxton's richest and poorest still live side by side, and although unemployment and crime rates are quite high compared to the rest of the borough of Hackney, <strong>regeneration projects significantly improve the area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It's a fascinating, lively place with lots of character that you can't afford to miss.<\/p>\n<p>During your visit, I recommend a trip to Hoxtone.
