The couple also raised their ten children here.<\/p>\n<p>Dickens' younger brother Frederick also stayed here, as did his wife Catherine's 17-year-old sister Mary,<strong> to support his married sister and brother.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This was quite usual for a woman's unmarried sister in those days.
