The site offers more than<strong> 5,000 plant species from all over the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dating back to 1722, the garden is the second oldest in the UK. On site, there's a caf\u00e9 with plenty of outdoor seating. I therefore recommend that you check the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatchigallery.com\/\">website<\/a>Click here to find out what's on before you go.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167610\"><\/a><strong>The Carlyle House<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Located just behind Cheyne Walk, Carlyle's House is owned by the National Trust. <strong>the former home of Victorian essayist and historian Thomas Carlyle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carlyle hosted many of Victorian society's best-known writers here, including Dickens and Tennyson, creating a literary haven that has remained virtually intact ever since.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167611\"><\/a><strong>Clip n Climb Chelsea<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Unfortunately, Chelsea's huge indoor ski slope, Chelski, has been closed for good, but if you want to get your adrenaline pumping, you can always climb it. <strong>the dizzying heights of Clip n Climb Chelsea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are 22 separate challenges, suitable for all levels of climber, and each session comes with a 30-minute introduction to show you the basic moves.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167612\"><\/a><strong>City of Chelsea: Oscar Wilde's house<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Few have captured the spirit and sparkle of fin de si\u00e8cle <strong>like Oscar Wilde<\/strong>. The author of famous plays lived at 34 rue Tite.<\/p>\n<p>This relatively modest home actually played a fundamental role in Wilde's notorious downfall, which left him broke and eventually dying in a shabby studio apartment in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>It was here that Wilde met Lord Alfred Douglas and began the relationship that tore his life apart.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167613\"><\/a><strong>Visit the Moravian cemetery on Fetter Lane<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Stroll out of the Spenny district of King's Road to discover one of the most unusual things to do in Chelsea: the Moravian cemetery on Fetter Lane.<\/p>\n<p>The Moravians first came to the UK from the Czech Republic in the 18th century and their leader, Count Zizendorf, bought Lindsey House, <strong>Thomas More's former home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He used it to establish the international headquarters of the Moravian Church, although the property was subsequently divided up and sold in later years.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Little Chapel Cemetery is all that remains of this people in London. It doesn't look much like a graveyard, thanks to the Moravian tradition of <strong>use rectangular headstones of the same size, laid flat in the ground.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167614\"><\/a><strong>City of Chelsea: the National Army Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The contemporary buildings of the National Army Museum are home to one of London's most interesting free museums.<\/p>\n<p>The museum traces the history of the British Army and Armed Forces, examining life in the military, our relationship with it and <strong>its influence on our daily lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167615\"><\/a><strong>The Royal Court Theatre<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Chelsea residents are fortunate to have the Royal Court Theatre ready to host an evening out. The theater is known for offering some of the city's most popular plays.<\/p>\n<p>You'll find contemporary talents such as Mike Bartlett and David Hare. <strong>both appearing on the program in recent years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc156167616\"><\/a>Chelsea City: the best places to shop<\/h2>\n<p>Shopping and Chelsea are synonymous, thanks to the fame of King's Road. You won't find as many independent boutiques as in its heyday in the 1960s, but it's still a great place to shop.<\/p>\n<p>You'll find the most expensive brands like Hermes and Cartier scattered around Sloane Square, while Lots Road<strong> is the place to go for antiques.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Take a detour to the World's End Bookshop<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>One of London's best second-hand bookshops, World's End Bookshop's unpretentious frontage may be at odds with the opulence of the rest of King's Road. Nevertheless, it proudly displays its welcoming air.<\/p>\n<p>The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to this store, it's no wonder that the neighborhood has grown up.<strong> a reputation as the city's book-lover's paradise.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>King's Road <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The number one place to shop in Chelsea is undoubtedly King's Road. Thanks in part to the hit TV show Made in Chelsea, this lively shopping street has attracted a lot of attention in recent years, <strong>but King's Road owes its fame to the 60s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you walk down King's Road today, you'll notice this heritage still alive in the designer boutiques, fashion department stores and, of course, in all the stylish people who shop there.<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea is an exciting place to visit. When you're in London, I recommend you make a detour here.
