This is the realm of adventure. It's the perfect place to cool off on a balmy summer's day in the capital.<\/p>\n<p>There is one mixed pond and two unmixed ponds. The water is 100 % natural, which means it contains no chemicals. Plus other swimmers, <strong>you'll be in the company of some friendly ducks!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The women's and men's pools are open all year round, but to access the mixed pool in winter, you need to join the Hampstead Winter Swimming Club.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the ponds is \u00a32 per adult. Changing rooms are attached to the ponds, and lifeguards are on duty, but please note that there are no lockers. It is therefore <strong>important to look after your belongings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc155800466\"><\/a><strong>Hampstead Heath Park: soak up the views<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The hills of <a href=\"https:\/\/bonjourlondres.fr\/en\/hampstead\/\">Hampstead<\/a> Heath offer spectacular views of the city. The best view of all is from Parliament Hill.<\/p>\n<p>A short walk east from the mixed swimming pond takes you to the grassy knoll. This is a wonderful spot to enjoy a summer picnic or share a bottle of wine for a romantic sunset,<strong> away from the hustle and bustle of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you're an early riser, come here to experience one of the quietest sunrises in London.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc155800467\"><\/a><strong>A tour of a traditional English pub<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The area around Hampstead Heath is full of welcoming pubs with hearty menus and well-stocked bars to help you refuel after your exploration.<\/p>\n<p>The Spaniards Inn, on Spaniards Road, is a favorite with Hampstead locals. Inside, they have a huge fireplace for winter travelers, and come summer, their open-air caf\u00e9 is the best place to enjoy a drink. <strong>to enjoy dinner on the terrace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc155800468\"><\/a><strong>Hampstead Heath Park: search for the secret pergola<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Hill Garden and Pergola are a fairly well-kept secret and well worth exploring to see some unique and magnificent architecture.<\/p>\n<p>It's located in the north-western part of the heath, and you have to cross Spaniards Road to get there.<\/p>\n<p>Georgian terraces and gardens are so romantic that the pergola is used as a wedding venue and is a photographer's paradise. You are also <strong>rewarded with an incredible view.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc155800469\"><\/a><strong>Marvel at the art of Kenwood House<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In the northern part of Hampstead Heath, the gleaming white mansion Kenwood House sits atop a small hill.<\/p>\n<p>It boasts a vast art collection that the public can consult free of charge, and houses masterpieces such as the <strong>\"Rembrandt's \"Portrait with two circles<\/strong> as well as works by Turner and Vermeer.<\/p>\n<p>Kenwood House also boasts two delicious tea rooms, The Brew House Caf\u00e9 and The Steward's Room.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"_Toc155800470\"><\/a><strong>Hampstead Heath Park: visit Keats House<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>This elegant Regency house is the former home of the great British poet John Keats. This small but fascinating museum tells the story of the Romantic poet who found love and inspiration during his short life in this Hampstead home.<\/p>\n<p>Keats House is located at the southern tip of the Heath, opposite Hampstead Heath air station. Step inside and explore the original letters, poems and manuscripts written by Keats. Occasionally, <strong>the museum hosts special events.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are a thousand and one things to see in Hampstead Heath Park.
