A little history
The origins of Twickenham Stadium date back to 1907, when the land was purchased by the RFU for just over £5,500. In 1909, the first rugby match took place at the stadium.
In 1996, the Rugby Museum was officially opened to the public and now attracts over 25,000 visitors every year.

The World Rugby Museum, located in the South Stand of Twickenham stadium, houses over 41,000 rugby-related objects as well as various galleries and exhibits, and should be a must-see for any die-hard rugby fan.

Twickenham stadium is served by the city's public transport network. So you can get there:
- By metro, the nearest station is Hounslow East
- By bus, you can reach the stadium on the 281, 267, 481, 681 and H20

Tours of Twickenham Stadium last around 75 minutes and are led by a tour guide. All tickets include entry to the World Rugby Museum, which can be visited at your leisure.
We strongly recommend that you book your stadium tour tickets in advance, because availability for each visit is limited
Stadium tours are not available on event days.
Visitors must register at the England Rugby Store in the stadium's south stand.

Tickets to visit Twickenham stadium cost :
- 27,95 £ for adults
- 17,50 £ for children (ages 5-15)
Admission to the World Rugby Museum costs :
- 12,50 £ for adults
- 7,50 £ for children (ages 5-15)
Children under five get in free.
Twickenham stadium: opening times
Tours of Twickenham stadium take place :
- Tuesday to Friday at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Saturdays at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Sundays at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
The World Rugby Museum opens :
- Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sundays and public holidays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Last admission to the museum is at 4 pm.
Tours of Twickenham Stadium and the World Rugby Museum are closed on Mondays and Sundays from Easteron the eve of NoëlBoxing Day and New Year's Day.
