Le Bab London: a festival of oriental dishes
Although this can be a fast food in the pure tradition of the neighborhood, you won't feel pressed for time as you discover the restaurant's selection of appetizers.
Of course, I recommend that you start with the falafels. with tzatziki to begin your culinary journey here.
Be sure to check out the incredible wine list before moving on to the main courses. Co-founder Stephen is madly passionate about offering an affordable and truly interesting wine list.
You'll find everything from Croatian to Czech wines. The latter from light to full-bodied.
Main courses to die for
The skewers arrive on super-flat smoked buns, ready to be served to your table. Meat lovers will appreciate the Roe Deer Shish with cavolo nero kimchi, while the BBQ Paneer will appeal not only to vegetarians.
The dish is accompanied by red beet and curry mayonnaise. If you're still feeling hungry, don't hesitate to try the pig's head, served fresh from the oven and ready to share.
Bab London: a blend of Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian dishes
Fries topped with fondue cheese are an essential accompaniment. They are cooked twice and served with a jar of stilton sauce on the side.
This dish is still much better than the cheese fries served in many other establishments.
