The Brat is an establishment originally from North Wales. Its menu combines shellfish and the best of British dishes with European recipes.
The restaurant even takes its name from an old slang word for its star dish, whole turbot cooked over a wood fire. You can order this dish for the modest sum of £150.
The owner honed his skills at the famous Kitty Fisher's in Paris. Mayfair before to open Brat in 2018 with great success.
Five years on, the restaurant is still going strong. Just make sure you go with enough friends to finish the turbot.

The Jolene in Stoke Newington is a romantic, yet sumptuous, venue for any time of day.
Named after the Dolly Parton song of the same name, the restaurant-bakery combo offers a constantly evolving menuincluding breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The place even has its own mill, where it makes all its own bread, pasta and puff pastries.

The Ikoyi
Ikoyi is a trendy place to visit in London. On the spot, you should expect to pay around £300 for the tasting menu.
Founder and chef Jeremy Chan offers only the finest biodynamic vegetables and organic 100 % beef, and even insists that all its British fish are caught using the Japanese Ike Jimi method.
Chan has a passion for West African spices, which are very much in evidence, and the results have earned him and his partner, Ire Hassan-Odukale, two Michelin stars.
The resulting cuisine is almost impossible to define, but smoked Jollof rice is a menu mainstay in many forms.

Kudu just gives you one more reason to head south of the river. Owners Amy Corbin and Patrick Williams have created a carefully curated South African wine list, while the menu offers:

- A cabbage tab
There are now three Kudu restaurants all pay tribute to the South African Braii tradition.

Rita's is perhaps the best example of the special relationship between America and the UK, with the former bodega serving riffs on American classics using seasonal British produce.
There's a dizzying pleasure in sinking into the red cabins of this new classic from Soho for a night of sensory overload.
Jalapeños popper gildas, stuffed with olives, anchovies and a slice of fresh red pepper, have created a gourmet trend throughout the capital.
Lime tart is the epilogue perfect for an evening out with your partner or friends.
