How do I get to the Harry Potter studios in London?
This Harry Potter museum is located in Leavesden, a town situated about 30 km north-west London. The address is : Â Studio Tour Dr, Leavesden, Watford WD25 7LR
There are several ways to get there:
- By train from Euston station (approx. 20 min journey) towards Watford. Afterwards, a shuttle bus will take you to the studios, with departures every 20 min and a journey time of 15 minutes.
- Overground from Euston station towards Watford. Cheaper and more frequent, but longer (45 to 50 minutes).
- Via a shuttle from Londondirectly linked to the studios: they are accessible from Victoria and King Cross stations
- By car (North Watford direction), taking advantage of free on-site parking

- Family packs (2 adults + 2 children) are available to save on the total price.
It is absolutely necessary to buy your tickets online ! On-site, they are not for sale, due to the large daily crowds.
To do so, go to Warner Harry Potter Studios official website. You will need to reserve the day and time of your visit.
Be prepared, as places sell out fast: it would be a shame to miss out through lack of organization! Reserve your tickets at least 3 months in advance.
Opening hours
Studios open at 8:30 a.m. (for a 9 a.m. start) and close at 10 p.m.with last entry at 6.30pm, every day.
It's best to arrive 30 minutes before the time indicated on your tickets.
You can visit in at least 3 hoursBut it's easy to spend 4, 5 or even 6 hours in these studios, especially if you're a Harry Potter fan!
Practical tips and information
If you're not sufficiently at ease with the language of Shakespeare, you'll be pleased to know that there are French audio guides are available for £5.25. A real plus for making the most of the experience.
