If you want to make the most of the night in London, I highly recommend you stay at in a central location that puts you at the heart of the action.
While staying in a suburb can be fun and work well in many cases, if you're looking for nightlife experiences, it's easier to have your own base in the center of the capital.
London by night: be careful whatever the occasion
London, and especially its center, is considered very safe at night. However, it's a good idea to stick to the more popular areas.
In these areas, the police presence is also quite high in the streets after dark.
The city is also extensively covered by CCTV, which acts as a deterrent to opportunistic criminals.
Nevertheless, it's a good idea to remain cautious in any situation. That way, you can enjoy your night without a hitch!

London has a rich and fantastic culinary scene. And the good news is that there's always somewhere open! Generally speaking, however, most restaurants serve dinner. between 6 pm and 11 pm.
Whatever your tastes, you'll find what you're looking for in London. You can eat street food in Chinatown, or enjoy a 360-degree view of London with dinner in the Sky Garden.
Visit tourist sites from a new angle
London by night is often about admiring London's iconic sights in a different way. Make sure you head to the right places to see London at its best by night.
A stroll along Southbank is particularly rewarding. Then cross the Westminster in the direction of Parliament and Big Ben.
Visit Tower Bridge is also particularly majestic at night. Head for the Tate Modern and you'll have an emblematic view of the Saint Paul's Cathedral.
London by night: late-night shopping
London is fantastic for late-night shopping, but you'll need to know where to go. After nightfall, many tourists return to their hotels and you can enjoy an easier shopping trip.
Oxford Street, London's most iconic shopping street, has most stores open until 9pm Monday to Saturday, but sometimes department stores like Selfridges open until 10pm.
Covent Garden is open late until 9 p.m. on certain days. Finally, Westfield London, a huge shopping complex with over 300 stores, is open until 10pm.
