The metro Elizabeth (or Elizabeth Line) is the last of the London Underground lines to be built. It has been serving the capital for over 100 km, from west to east, since 2022.

Using the Elizabeth Line, you can easily visit some of the world's largest most popular monuments of the capital and some of the London districts the most fashionable.
Here are a few suggestions:
- Visit Paddington station and its surroundings, the pretty canals of the district that give it the air of little Venice, the official store of Paddington Bear to find a souvenir featuring the famous teddy bear

Here's some additional information on how to use this Metro line.
Rates
Elizabeth Line ticket prices are similar to those of the other metro lines from London. It depends on the distance travelled and the time of day (with one price for off-peak hours and another for peak hours).
You will pay between £2.70 / £2.80 (minimum) and £6.70 per trip.
Good to know you can use a Oyster Card for your trips on this line, to save money.
Opening hours
Trains run between 4:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.with between 12 and 24 departures per hour, depending on zone and timetable.
Trains do not run in the center during rush hour on Sundays.
Practical information
The Elizabeth line can be identified by its violet colorbut it's not a reference to royalty. It's the second metro line to pay homage to a royal figure, with the Victoria Line.
