The Ferris wheel is located on the south bank of the Thames. If you're near Parliament, just look across and you'll see the attraction right in front of you.

Weekdays and weekends in winter, the attraction is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.leaving you plenty of time to explore.

However, in summer and at weekends, it's open even longer, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.to admire the sunset.

How you get to the London Eye depends on where you're coming from. London is a big city with many transport links.

The metro closest to the London Eye is Waterloo, so you'll need to take the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern or Waterloo line.

The price of a ticket for the London Eye will depend on whether you buy a standard ticket or a combination ticket.

This will also vary depending on whether you buy a journey on the day or book it online.
